Empire League Discipline Rules

EMPIRE LEAGUE DISCIPLINE RULES
1. Any Fight at any time in the game is a DQ, and the player must sit out the next game. Verbiage is not the determining factor, the offense is.
2. If the fight is in the last 5 minutes of the game, or OT, the player must sit the next two League Games and you must skate 1 roster spot short for 2 games.
2A. The third fight for a player will include supplemental discipline. If a player has his 2nd fight, and has other major infractions, the player will receive supplemental discipline and Probation in addition to the normal suspensions which apply
3. A DQ for any other offense is a 1 game suspension. A DQ for any other offense then fighting In the last 5 minutes will be a 1 game suspension plus you lose the roster spot.
4. Supplemental discipline can be added to any situation based on the history of the player and the refs report.
5. A second checking from behind Major carries a 1 game suspension. Unless a DQ is called in the last 5 minutes for such an infraction, no roster spot is missed
6. For a third 10 minute misconduct penalty for the season not attached to another infraction, the player must sit 1 game. For the 6th, he will sit 2 games plus supplemental discipline and probation.
7. For the 2nd stick Major, a player will receive a 1 game suspension.
8. All Gross and Match penalties will receive a minimum of 5 games, a review and probation for the year. A second such infraction will result in expulsion
A player on probation means that a review of his conduct will be constant. Similar actions in the future will be dealt with severely
Coaches playing illegal players will be suspended for (2) games minimum plus the game will be forfeited
